Asymmetrical is the name of the game, with five families of beads. BTW: I call bead groupings “chapters”. Some groups are silvery, some are gold-toned. As always, shiny metals and stones always look well-dressed when accompanied by fresh water pearls.

A big glass, Black Beauty is the center of gravity for irregular pieces of pale grey, blue-black pearls and dark iridescent, mother-of-pearl chips. The slender silver-toned leaves and peek-a-boo rings prevent this piece from being predictable.

Blue Hawaii glass puff beads with mother-of-pearl coins are so brilliantly blue, they almost require a snorkel to see them. The ocean surrounding the Hawaiian Islands has these same blues, shimmering in the clear-as-glass water
