A gentle choker length is perfect for the big amber, art glass focal. It sets a bold, yet respectful mood. Four gold glass discs and smaller amber beads, stagger between puffy brass highlights and thick, transparent rondelles which keep the gold and amber from getting too carried away.

This could also fit in the earth tone category with the soft sea green/earth green center whelk shell and its big litter of baby seashells. To counterbalance the back-to-nature feel, I added sea green facet beads and silvery seed pearls among a few understated silvery spacers.

An asymmetric necklace with something for everyone. One side is luscious chunks of mother of pearl, counterbalanced by puffy lampworked glass beads of dark blue, gold, earth tones and copper striped. Smaller mother of pearl bits fill in for good measure.

Silver toned spacer beads come in a plethora of shapes and sizes and always add pizzaz to lamp worked glass beads. In this case, the royal blue centerpiece is flanked by two striped ovals of lime green, azure and black amid wavy greens and round blues. Crackle glass beads provide a little elbow room.

My first foray into asymmetrical designs, turquoise and aquamarine stone chips are opposite pink and peach with tiny seed pearls uniting the two opposing sides. A tiny, center star acts as referee .

You may have noticed that I’ve fallen in love with “lamp work glass”. This pendant has many colors of the Aegean Sea around the Greek Isles, suspended on a line of fresh water pearls and assorted goodies.
